Chrome plated finish. Used on M8 models equipped with the OEM / Screamin' Eagle oval 'Ventilator' backing plate only. This Stage 2 performance air cleaner kit adds it all, performance & styling. does not reduce leg room since the filter height was increased, not the width. The filter cover, spacers & clamps are all CNC machined from billet aluminum and anodized for long lasting beauty. Comes with a high-flow filter with black pre-oiled cotton media, that offers over 50% more filtering area than stock paper air filters and a substantially higher flow rate. Dyno testing showed up to 3HP increase on stock M8, up to 5HP with 124" big bore M8 and more can be expected on bigger engines.
