These valve guides were designed with price in mind for those rebuilding their engines. But expect the same tight KPMI tolerances with reduced wear/wear capacity compared to the nickel aluminum bronze "C630". Manganese guides are less hard and more easily reamed, then can be delicately finished with our boring stones. Now with a power drill, you can mill and grind manganese valve guides in less time and without the expensive honing equipment that is required with Nickel Bronze.
