The Compu-Fire Electronic Voltage Regulator is a calibrated voltage output for maintenance-free batteries. The regulator circuit opens the charging system when the battery is fully charged, resulting in cooler stator operation and extended system life compared to the original shunt-type regulator, which fully charges the stator by grounding the output at full load. The regulators come in a machined aluminum housing with a beautiful chrome finish.
