Simply fit the tool onto the left hand thread of the main transmission shaft, and give the end of the tool a sharp tap with a medium weight hammer and the clutch hub will simply "pop off". Works with all tapered shaft clutch hubs used on 1936-1989 45CI, Sportster and Big twin.
