"Wide" swingarm kit for softails evolution from late 1987 to 1999

This very complete swingarm conversion kit allows you to mount a 200 wide tire in the original frame while retaining the original drive belt without any cutting. Each kit includes the right parts and hardware for the right years, check carefully what you need before ordering. Due to the extra width of this kit, the original fenders and struts can no longer be used, extra wide aftermarket fenders and struts must be used. If applicable, the original struts must be cut and replaced with a ZPN236499 bolt-on type strut. Also on some models it may be necessary to grind the square lower bar bracket to clear the shock eyelets. Zodiac offers rear fenders up to 11" (28 cm) in the fender section of this catalog. Each kit includes: an offset swingarm, a set of wheel adjusters, wheel axle spacers, a wheel axle, an offset transmission plate, a primary spacer, longer inboard primary mounting bolts, crankshaft extension, extended crankshaft nut and a primary seal kit with additional O-ring. A special transmission side mounting plate Triangle shape eliminates the use of a 5th transmission stud and allows the use of OEM and all aftermarket shocks. All parts are available separately.
