This polished inner primary cover has the hole for the shift control lever in the middle. It has 9 holes for the outer cover. If your lid only has 8 holes, the 9th is just not used. The molded reinforcements make this interior primer very strong. Please note that the polishing is not up to Zodiac standards and it is therefore recommended to have it painted or powder coated.
