STELING & HELLING SPEEDSTER HANDLEBARS FOR SPRINGER FORKS
Jack Tracey, life member and president of the world's oldest motorcycle club, the Yonkers Motorcycle Club and owner of the Harley-Davidson dealership in Yonkers, NY, asked Stelling and Helling has developed handlebars that are higher than the original "comfortable" Speedster handlebars. SandH offered these with mounting holes for the horn and variator on the left side and a shortened grip area for use with the Hellings type short spirals. These handlebars are designed for inline springer forks with outer holes measuring 4 3/4" (120.7mm) center to center and come complete with parkerized end caps s. Order the pinch bolts and two short spirals separately. The handles must be cut to length. The "in-line" forks have been manufactured Original for Big Twin 1936-1940 with 28° frame neck, Big Twin 1941-1945 with 29° frame neck, 45CI Solo 1929-1957 and Servicar 1937-1957. Original on EL and FL Big Twin 1946 -1948 with the 30° frame neck as well as on most reproduction rigid frames with the original 30° neck.
