BRAKE PADS, FRONT

Zodiac offers a complete line of high quality pads for all models equipped with disc brakes from 1972 to present. These pads exist for different applications ranging from touring to racing. Zodiac pads come in two qualities, sintered and Kevlar. The "sintered" have been tested under the harshest braking conditions. The high friction materials used offer better heat transfer which prevents "fading". Kevlar pad test results show that these pads last much longer, and provide increased stopping power. Kevlar has a very high level of friction, resulting in good brake feel in the wet or dry. We also offer two grades of SBS (Scandinavian Brake System). These asbestos-free pads are recognized for their performance in all conditions. Visible wear indicator. In addition to the asbestos-free line SBS offers high friction metal "Excel sintered street" pads. All our pads are designed for original calipers and are all asbestos-free. Apart from "original Zodiac and SBS brake pads we also have EBC brake pads. These brake pads exist in an Organic/Aramid mixture, the semi-metallic V-series which has the duration life of a metal pad with the braking feel of an organic. They also give no brake noise with lower heat transfer and less rotor abrasion. These pads are easy to recognize be due to the red paint. The VLD-Series have the same composition as V-Series but the backing plates are chrome plated. The HH give extreme braking power and a very long life and are best used on heat-treated stainless steel rotors.
