Even sealed and gel cell batteries can leak harmful and corrosive chemicals that can cause damage to skin and clothing. This new Battery Lifter is modeled after the larger tools made for automotive batteries but is properly sized to fit a variety of motorcycle batteries. In particular, some Harley-Davidson models have an extremely tight fit in the compartment combined with a heavy battery, which makes for unusually difficult removal and installation. This is an accident waiting to happen! Dropping the battery can result in personal injury, and/or damage to the motorcycle, as well as the battery itself. Our concern for safety goes beyond just riding the motorcycles.
