Burly Low Boy Fork Lowering Kits

Low Boy Fork Lowering Kits are designed to shorten stock Harley-Davidson forks by 1 1/4" or 2" (installer's choice). We believe the Low Boy design kit, using longer rebound springs (sometimes called negative springs) and shorter/stiffer fork springs, offers significant advantages over the conventional lowering method using tubes shorter forks. The advantages are: easy installation does not require complete disassembly of the fork, ease of choice of displacement reduction (1Â 1/4" or 2"), rapid reconversion to original displacement. The springs are progressively wound to complement the fork's shorter travel while still providing a smooth ride, but the resistance at the low point is the same as stock which will maintain clearance between the frame and the ground.
