The 3.5 gallon (13.2 L) manually-shifted tank used on Harley-Davidson Big Twins from 1947 to 1965 has not been available for many years. This one is actually a Shovelhead gas tank but completely modified to fit 1947-1965 Big Twin frames and to accommodate a 1948-1965 stem shut-off valve, 1947-1965 shifter guide and a 1948 style crossover line. Takes cam lock style gas caps from 1965 to early 1973. Tank assembly weighs 6.88 lbs.
