Inspired by racers, riders and those who demand more of their bikes than weekend coffee runs, the USA built 970 Series shocks combine a high pressure gas monotube design with deflective disc damping routed through two unique circuits and adjustable for compression damping via an easily accessible knob . The shock body and piggyback are internally coated to reduce friction. Features forged aluminum body, progressive rate springs with preload adjusters and hard chrome main shafts. Available for most Dyna, Sportster and XR 1200 models. Shocks for Sportster and XR1200 models are 12" (305mm) or 13" (330mm) eye to eye. Shocks for Dyna Dyna are 12Â 1/2" (318mm) or 13Â 1/2" (343mm) eye to eye.
