Spyke's Hi-Torque starter motors give high power and are extremely good looking. Starter motors for 1989 to present Big Twins give 46% more cranking torque than stock. Spyke claims that there is no need to buy a bigger battery since they use modern technology and an intelligent gear reduction design. Using this modern technology for 1965 thru 1988 models even resulted in a 200% torque increase over stock. Spyke did their Research and Development on a 16:1 compression bike, and with the Spyke starter the bike was turning like "from stock". These Hi-Torque starter motors are available for most models from 1965 to present in your choice of polished case or chrome plated case, all with high luster polished aluminum parts, chrome steel hardware and stainless steel fasteners.
