These cams were developed to provide immediate power in 6th gear at any gear. They deliver an impressive horsepower gain with a huge increase in torque at lower engine speeds as soon as you accelerate in the city and on the highway. Red Shift 525 and 527 cams provide immediate throttle response and acceleration below 2000 rpm without detonation. This means your Harley will go 80 km/h and above in 6th gear, without downshifting. Red Shift 525 cams are for 96CI models up to 103CI Big Bore kit installed. The Red Shift 528 cam is the successor to the 527 cam but with quieter opening ramps, it isandnbsp, for 103CI models with or without 110CI Big Bore kit installed. The 525 and 528 cams can be used with adjustable or stock rods.
