With its high-efficiency four-valve cylinder heads, the Milwaukee Eight engines have great potential for performance gains, especially with the new Andrews Milwaukee camshafts for Milwaukee Eight. Keep in mind that the specifications of cams for 4-valve cylinder heads are very different from camshafts for engines with 2 valves. Four-valve engines have much greater 'breathing' efficiency so the cam diagrams are much shorter. Direct fit cams can be used with stock push rods, however, for ease of installation we recommend the use of Andrews EZ-Install Chromoly rods.
