Old OEM 31506-79B starter relay as on most 1980-1992 Harley-Davidson models. The newer OEM late type 31504-91A is actually the same but has an integrated diode and was introduced in 1991 on the Touring and Police FXRP and used after 1992-2008 on the Big Twin and 1992-2004 Sportster. The old one is available as a stock replacement which is the equivalent of the original as well as an improved, skirted version, which is truly weatherproof with a skirt which protects Remove the connector block. The latest style relay can also be used to replace the old one.
